A narrow entry expands, building height and width as the long finish rolls on. This is ripe yet refreshing, classic in every sense of word.

A special vineyard that was our pride and joy, sadly it was pulled out in the dark times of 2021. It was the good child. The one that was easy to look after, with natural balance, which produced fruit that was consistently powerful yet pure. In 2019 we picked a bit earlier, and then played with a bit of malo and battonage to build weight, flavour and texture - we think it is our best Chardonnnay yet. The long but mild growing season offers it a thrillingly fresh finish.
